Based upon the original MT580 trail running sneaker, 686 and New
Balance design labs updated the newly improved model with better fit,
increased stability with superior flex, lower profile and overall lighter
weight. Also included are NB’s propreitary Rollbar® and Abzorb®
technology combined with “Quick-Strike” velcro strap, the patented
SCL® zonal speedlacing, and an improved dual density EVA liner
retained in positioNEW BALANCEy a new harness inside the shell

SPECIAL FEATURES: NEW patented SLC® zonal speedlacing system
with upper and lower “Quick-Strike” Velcro straps, one-piece molded
tongue with 3-dimensional EVA, 3-dimensional thermoplastic injected
Heelstay for maximum durability and stability, “Articulating cuff” with
high frequency molded hinge which allows the upper and lower parts
to flex, while giving the proper amount of rider support, NEW Harness
